• Your Shopify store domain and session authentication data
• Product information (titles, descriptions, SKUs, status, collections)

• Payment method configurations

• Domain registration information (via public WHOIS data)
• Website performance metrics (via Google PageSpeed Insights API)

We store the results of your compliance scans, including pass/fail status and issue details, to display your scan history.

If we don't collect this data, we may be unable to provide you with our scanning service, and some functions and features may not be available to you.

2. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services to provide functionality:

• Google PageSpeed Insights API - We send your store's public URL to Google to analyze performance. Google's Privacy Policy

3. Analytics and Tracking

We use the following analytics tools on our public website to understand how visitors use our site and to improve our service:

• Google Analytics (GA4) - Collects information about pages visited, time spent on pages, and referral sources. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
• PostHog - Collects product analytics and session recordings to help us improve the user experience. All form inputs are masked in session recordings.
• Tawk.to - Provides live chat support functionality and uses session cookies to maintain the chat connection.

On our public website, these tools are only loaded after you have given your consent via our cookie banner. Within the Shopify admin app, these tools load automatically as consent is implied by app installation.

4. Cookies

Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — for the following purposes:

• Essential cookies - Required for session authentication and basic website functionality. These cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies - Used by Google Analytics (_ga, _gid) and PostHog (ph_*) to collect usage data. These are only set after you consent.
• Live chat cookies - Used by Tawk.to (TawkConnectionTime) to maintain chat sessions. These are only set after you consent.

We use encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and secure authentication via Shopify's OAuth system.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is one hundred percent secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Retention

The length of time we keep your personal data depends on what it is and whether we have an ongoing business need to retain it.

• Session data is retained while the app is installed on your store
• Scan history is retained based on your subscription tier (1-10 most recent scans)
• When you uninstall the app, your data is deleted within 30 days

Please note that if you ask to stop processing your personal data in a certain way or erase your personal data, and this type of processing or data is needed to facilitate your use of the services, you may not be able to use the services as you did before, or at all.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:

• As required to provide the app's functionality (e.g., Google PageSpeed API)
• To comply with legal obligations
• To protect our rights or the rights of others
